Until the invention of the Body Jet, fat was still aspirated (or removed) with older, more traditional-style liposuction techniques, leaving patients at risk for some of the more commonly known ‘strike’ injuries, occurring from aggressive cannula movements that strike the skin and muscle. With the gentler Body Jet water assisted liposuction system, the liquefied pocket can be ‘flushed’ out, eliminating the previously mentioned risks and complications.
